Founded in 1970, West Mekan is a Norwegian manufacturer of passenger seating systems, propulsion solutions, and advanced manufacturing services.

Today, West Mekan operates across three core business areas: passenger seating systems, propulsion solutions, and machining and fabrication services. Together, these business areas combine decades of maritime experience with modern production capabilities and customer-focused engineering.
Our passenger seating systems are installed on ferries, high-speed craft, and passenger vessels operating worldwide. West Mekan supplies approximately 15 000 passenger seats annually to customers across the global maritime industry.
