Transparency Act
At West Mekan, respect for human rights and decent working conditions forms an important part of how we conduct our business.
We are committed to responsible business practices throughout our own operations and across our supply chain. Through systematic due diligence assessments, we identify and assess potential risks related to human rights and working conditions, and work continuously to prevent and reduce adverse impacts.
Our approach is based on the Norwegian Transparency Act and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. As part of this work, we map our supplier network, assess risk, maintain dialogue with suppliers and implement follow up measures where necessary.
We expect our suppliers and business partners to operate with the same commitment to integrity, ethical business conduct and respect for internationally recognised human rights.
Annual Transparency Report
West Mekan publishes an annual Transparency Act report describing how we conduct due diligence assessments, evaluate risks and work to promote responsible business conduct throughout our value chain.
