Fixed Pitch Propeller (FP) – safe and simple
Our Fixed Pitch (FP) Propeller System is the simplest, most efficient and cost-effective propulsion solution for the majority of vessels. Suitable for conventional, hybrid and fully electric propulsion systems, it delivers outstanding reliability, low operating costs and excellent propulsion efficiency.
Compared with a Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) system, an FP propeller typically provides at least 3% higher efficiency at the vessel's design point, thanks to its smaller hub and optimized blade geometry. The result is lower fuel consumption—or extended range for electric vessels—while the simple, robust design minimizes maintenance requirements and maximizes reliability.
Every propeller is individually engineered to match the vessel's operating profile. Rather than selecting a standard propeller, we optimize each design based on vessel type, operating conditions, engine characteristics and available installation space, ensuring maximum performance and efficiency.
For smaller propellers (12–24 inches), we calculate the optimal design and supply from our stock of standard propellers. For propellers 25 inches and larger, each propeller is custom-designed and manufactured to meet the specific requirements of the vessel.

Up to 6 blades
While FP systems are the preferred solution for most vessels, applications requiring frequent precision manoeuvring or operating under highly variable loads may benefit from a Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) system.
