West Mekan designs, manufactures and supplies propeller shafts in a wide range of configurations and materials, from high-strength carbon steel to Super Duplex stainless steel, ensuring optimum performance and durability in demanding marine environments.
Our shafts are available as solid shafts for fixed pitch propeller systems or hollow-bored shafts for controllable pitch propeller applications and other specialised propulsion systems.
We supply propeller shafts with diameters from 25 to 150 mm (including imperial sizes), manufactured in accordance with the relevant classification society requirements where applicable.
Shafts can be supplied with keyways, oil injection mounting, or keyless connections for propellers and flanges, providing a reliable solution tailored to the vessel's propulsion system and installation requirements.
