West Mekan designs, manufactures and supplies stern tubes and rudder tubes for a wide range of propulsion systems and rudder installations. Engineered for reliability, long service life and low maintenance, our solutions are tailored to each vessel's design and operating requirements.
Our tubes are compatible with virtually all types of propeller systems and rudders and are available in a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, bronze and composite materials, depending on the application.
They can be supplied with or without stern fittings and are designed for welded or moulded installation, providing maximum flexibility for both newbuilds and retrofit projects.
West Mekan stern and rudder tubes are available for shaft diameters from 25 to 150 mm, including imperial sizes.
